The Roundhouses are three luxury glamping pods in Northumberland and are located 9 miles north west of Alnwick.
Our Roundhouses pay homage to life in the Breamish Valley over 2,000 years ago. Perched on hill tops, Iron Age hillforts contained wooden roundhouses lived in by many more people than the valley is home to today.
Named after three of the valley's hillforts, Brough Law, Middle Dean and Wether Hill give you magnificent views across the valley to their predecessors.
They are the perfect location for relaxing weekends away. Their circular interiors, stunning outdoor baths and breathtakingly beautiful views will leave you feeling completely relaxed within minutes.
THE MORALEE FAMILY
The Roundhouses are run by The Moralee Family - Pete & Michele, along side their three daughters Ruth, Jenny & Kathryn.
Here we are pictured with Robson Green, who was one of the first people to stay in Wether Hill.
The Moralees decided to build The Roundhouses after running Breamish Valley Cottages in Branton for over 25 years. This is now run by their son, Peter and his wife Kim.
Each daughter designed a different Roundhouse so each have their own character and charm. We hope you'll enjoy coming to stay in each one!
